If I have a windows os and using a ubuntu live cd,while im using ubuntu would ububntu and windows be connected sum how?
well the LIVECD doesnt actualy instal anything on ur system when u first run it, u have to click install after everything works for it to even put any content on your har drive
you can get dual boot to work with ubuntu and windows, but i don’t think theres a way u can connect the two… its two different partitions on the hard drive
EDIT: if you load UBUNTU, you don’t load windows and vise versa, so only one is running at a time, no way to “connect them”
You can read/write to your windows partition if it is mounted, but you are still using linux.
