oh, it’s just another test of the new subsurface scattering. i think i’ll try one with a good normals map next, I think it will look cool with wrinkles and stuff.

Well, it’s difficult to get a reply if your post is a needle in an SSS-haystack.
I like the first character, is it one material or two?
It looks like two because the bottom seems to have a different color.

no it’s just one material, ( except for the eyeball region ) but the sss tends to darken certain areas it seems. I noticed you kind of have to crank up the lamps with it too.
