Nicely done overall, but I would make Santa Claus show up before the gift box lands, and I would re-do the landing of the gift box, because its too smooth. When some thing hits snow it still sinks in but it stops more abruptly (and the box should fall a bit faster). Same thing when he opens the box.

couple of points to look into for the next animations:

  • looks like you animated the hat and box lid separately and tried to track the movements of hand? a better method would be to use copyLoc constraint and animate the influence when you want it to stick with the hand or drop.

  • you keep pausing to a full stop between the motions. this makes it look a bit weird, robotic. try to follow through the motions and keep him alive.

First of all, congrats on finishing an animation ! that’s the hardest part :slight_smile:

Adding to what basse said, animate following arcs. Check when the snowman grabs the box cover and drops it, the way he does it is not following an arc, thus, looks like a robot.

You could work on body language as well, when he looks into the box for the first time, he could have reacted surprised, by arching his body backwards, etc etc.

Bravo, il y a juste le ciel bleu du début, tu devrais lui mettre une texture de nuage ou autre. Ce n’est quune idée…

The animation is indeed somewhat robotic, but I give the concept a 10! Loved it.
