Unable to PYTHONPATH

OSuse10.2_Blender2.44&Python2.5…NOOB yet

Hi everybody,

I’m having a problem…I already tried all the previous suggestions and nothing happened…I even deleted blender and re-installed it. with the same results…

1- I copied the “export PYTHONPATH”…to .bashrc…nothing
2. I changed the path in the Users Preferences Menu to “Python: /usr/lib/python2.5” from “/usr/local/blender/2.44/.blender/scripts” …nothing
3. I executed ./blender and received "Compiled with Python version2.5. Checking for installed Python… got it!
4.I kneeled down and prayed…nothing!!!

but after re-installation I notice that if I executed the x-icon in the /2.44 folder “in SuperUserMode” blender opened as new and with the plug-ins…perfect!!!, of course…

  1. I smiled and created a new link to my desktop icon…and …nothing!!!

it came up as the old one, even with my old preferences and still without the plug-ins.
so I opened a new windows “in normal mode” and clicked the same x-icon and my old version appears…without the plugins…

please I need help, desperately…

I don’t know what else to do…

PS. I created a new thread 'cause nobody answered in the “…101…” thread.
