In the video, I selected Alt+right click first layer (edge) and it can be selected but, second layer/ edge isn’t, while other edges can be selected. The solution I need would be trying to find a way to select the edge without manually selecting the vertices one by one.
You can’t use the loop selection… because it’s not a loop.
These n-gons interrupt the continuity.
In this particular example, you can:
- select the central disc (Face mode)
- extend the selection: ctrl + Numpad plus key
- convert that selection into a boundary: Select / Select loops / Select Boundary loop
