Unexpected pivot - Bug?

Hello everyone,
after two years of modelling in Blender I got this “bug”. The pivot isnt correct and I cant rotate correctly. Is this a bug or something like this? - or maybe a feature? :stuck_out_tongue:


I got this problem only with this mesh. I select two or more vertieces | edges | faces and this happen.

Have you tried applying the rotation (Ctrl+A / rotation in object mode)

No, but what does that have to do with the another? It is obviously the edit mode and not the object mode. Okay, sometimes you get issues with simulations, rigs etc. but with the pivot point? Please explain.
I tried it and nothing happens. The rotation is already on 0/0/0
