Unified Render ?? Where

hello,
today I have work on a tutorials how to make a waves, so fare everything its OK., but the tut say: Press F10 and select "Unified Renderer " I can not find this buttons on my Blender 2.46.

Do you know where.

It is the Blender internal renderer.

This is obsolete now, so you just need to press Render (or F12).

Ok , i ignore and press F12.Thank you.

I have one other question. Those two beginner - waves I made ar very non -smoth, both of them. I have press the " SetSmooth button, but still. see screnshots.
