Universal Armature and Python Script (help wanted) ...


We have start (Meltingman from http://www.blenderclan.org and I) and universal armature for every one (CC 0.6). A week ago, I have an idea (or a dream, maybe) ; that will be really nice to create this armature just by pushing a button in a python script (like : ‘Create Biped’) instead of Append or Link (…).
We have another idea, like translating icht bones in our birth of a language : English, Dutch, French, Spanish …
I’ll try to learn some things about Python, but I’m a really bad. :o

Note : After this universal biped armature, I would like to create a universal quadruped one (based on a dog).

this is something that would be really usefull for Blender i think.
maybe having a python script would also make options available to choose from things like a rotating lower arm, tail bones, face bones, etc… (just like the option menu in 3dsmax)
