of a teacher for special tasks (m/f/d)
3D Animation & 3D Design
on a part-time basis (50% of the collectively agreed working hours).
The Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar is an interdisciplinary university with degree programmes in Fine Arts, Communication and Product Design, Media Art & Design and Art Education for teaching at different types of schools. In addition, specialised Master’s degree programmes are offered.
We are looking for a motivated, creative, communicative and empathetic personality who can point to both creative project work and teaching experience. The future job holder will teach the main areas of 3D animation, 3D design and 3D development for “video games” in the Media Art & Design degree programme.
Your tasks
Teaching in the basic and advanced studies in the BA, MA and diploma degree programmes
Co-creation of the teaching area "Animation and Interactive Media
interdisciplinary cooperation with other departments of the HBKsaar and with its cooperating universities
participation in academic self-administration
Your profile
Prerequisites are
completed university studies in the field of design
excellent knowledge and proven project experience in the fields of 3D animation and 3D design
in-depth knowledge in all application areas of the software "Blender
pedagogical aptitude, proven by experience in teaching
very good knowledge of German and English and the ability to convey teaching content and work instructions in both languages
Advantageous
Knowledge of the “Maxon Cinema 4D” software environment
Knowledge of the “Adobe Substance” software environment
Knowledge of the “Animation - Games” production pipeline
Knowledge in the areas of photogrammetry, motion capture, augmented and virtual reality
If the requirements of the collective agreement are met, the position will be classified in pay group 10 TV-L.
