Hi. I am working through the Essential Blender book and am on page 60. I was suppose to duplicate an empty and put it in layer 2 which I did. The empty has an animation of scaling so I am suppose to unlink the animation from the duplicated empty in layer 2. The book says to go over to the IPO window header and LMB the X next to the IPO name. I do not see an X next to the IPO name. And by IPO name does he mean the Scale(X,Y,Z.)? There are boxes next to those but no X that I can see. If I select those and press X to delete the curve it also affects the empty in layer 1. I am using 2.45 on Win XP. Any help would be appreciated.
thank you. I thought I was looking in the wrong place when he said header but I didn’t see any X in the IPO window but I had to enlarge the screen to see that part of the window.
