Unread posts marked read too soon

Hi
It looks like there is some sort of “timeout” for highlighted threads with new posts.
If there is, good idea but I feel it happens far too soon/often.

Often come here and see, well there’s no new posts tonight -anywhere on the entire forum. Where is everyone?
