Im going to hopefully make a whole house interior in blender and was seeing if i could use uv mapping. i have only ever done simple one and having a few problems with this corridor/hall. Heres the attachment…Along the door going up to the ceiling, the faces are broken into triangles, anyone no why? also, if anyone has any better suggestions on modeling or marking the seams it would be much appreciated
I dont know why you have ended up with triangles there, but id suggest instead of using seams and doing unwrap on this type of thing you can useually get good results from using archimap uv projection unwrapper which is found in the uv menu.
