True, What’s great about my Closed Team environment is that ive encouraged my fellow team members to learn from the Game and how things are made, therefore many are able to improve their own projects as well using our method of making the game.
@anon14599097 ohh yeah Planets, planets are all made by me (Since i behold the creative vision behind the story and the overall plot of the game) i did encourage them to create their own favorite worlds, some lack creativity some are afraid to try thinking it’d hurt the plot, some just don’t seem to have any idea at all for planets such as things, what else to create.
But overally im always open to Team suggestions infact they come up with the best ideas i just make it happen!!!
At this point if there’s anything im very good at, its because of my experience with the Engine that ive gained for so many years, (Over the past decade, despite the fact that i havent shown anything technical yet)
ive used BGE and now forked as UPBGE i can only progress as a result of what i know and how i work around the limitations of the Engine instead of fixing the Engine … its hard but it pay’s off my best advise would be for you to keep using it, the more experience you get the more you will know how to work around its limitations and ultimately push and make your game come to life.
Making a GTA game is very easy from my point of view and Blender is capable of such games with huge environments my projects have broken the limits of the Engine (As far as Expectations are concerned on a technical as well as on a visual Scale, and redefine how do we tackle the SCOPE of the Game) and we’ve pushed the Engine far beyond what it can even handle, now that i look back on people’s comments about the Engine based on their personal opinions; i dont think that they have an idea what this Engine is even capable of doing. Since their statements were vague and stemmed from ignorance!
(As a Team, “weekly” we’ve been discovering new things and UPBGE continues to impress us now we just need to Deliver)
Just as @Martinish is working on pushing the boundaries so am “i” and my Team !!!
