whoa dude. this picture rocks. Is that guy writing his “memoires” or the story of his desperate life on that typing machine?

I can see some points of texturing who could maybe be improved. the bed for instance.

I’d also move the camera a little bit backwards so the legs (is that the correct english word) of the table and chair are completely visible. Show some more floor. It’s now kind of disturbing for the eye.

I have Shinjuku Thief’s “Smell of Nightfall” playing on the background and damn it fits into that image like a fist in a face :slight_smile:

This is really great scene, tough there is something very disturbing about the atmosphere, I would not trust that guy as far as I could throw him. He looks like scared scitschophrenic (spelling?) Mybe the “scream” painting on the wall helps to provided that feel.
I’ve always had this uneasy feeling when I’ve seen it.

It is a rare occasion that one sees a cg-art that has this much feeling to it. Even Endi’s incredible work lack the impact this has mood-wice: you can feel the hate that guy has towards the typewriter, knowing that he has to write, even though he will never be satisfied… great, great image
