Normally I post strictly blender art and related content, but this really is important to me, because it’s been another part of my life on the design side of things.
I’ve basically been working with fellow developers on a new game that just launched called “Pyrotouch”, a for all ages free fireworks game where the purpose is to detonate as many as you can without hitting the wrong targets. I designed the fireworks themselves, and I did use Blender as a visual guide for the particles, but the actual fireworks are created in a whole different program.
Now I should mention, so this doesn’t come off as a spam / ad / posting whatnot, I was thinking of doing some additional content and perhaps using blender as a 3D animation tool to create sprite sheets based on the character for the game.
Hey guys - in case anyone’s interested, we just shot a demo video for the iPhone game with (completely unrehearsed) testimonials on Vancouver’s beautiful Vanier Park before the real fireworks competition.
