UPDATE! Trance Together (Live at Halle 4)

Hi people,

well, I think this thing is not all that great, but it certainly has some nice ‘special effects’

It is the track video for a DJ Hitbach (fun dance act) track called “Trance Together”, which was “performed” live by composing the whole track in advance and then just turning sequencer tracks on and off in a loop

The vocals are thrown-in with a cheapo $10 microphone, so don’t complain (the track it NOT an instinctive production!

NOTE: THIS IS CERTAINLY FUNNIER FOR GERMANS! HEH

Filesize is 34 MB, playtime around 7 minutes.

MPEG2:

ATTENTION! If you are a Windows user, you should rather try the following link:

MPEG1:

Windows Media Player doesn’t seem to be able to play MPEG2 streams.

Have fun!

I get a weird error message from media player… :frowning:

“Pins cannot connect due to not supporting the same transport”

Strange…

It’s a shame as it sounds interesting…

Are you talking about Windows Media Player? If so, I’ve heard about various problems with it. My windows box can’t play the mpeg either.

Though I used the same encoder (mjpegtools) to encode the SVCD
version, and that’s eaten without problems even by my cheapo $100 DVD Player.

Funnily, I also get “File not found” from Windows Media Player when i click on the file

I had the same trouble with Windows Media Player but I could view it with BS Player and I was really impressed by your work on the spots and the smoke. I really felt like being in a night club.

Very good job.

Serialsiner.

D’oh!

I should have read the post properly and clicked the link for Windows users!

The animation is nice - the little DJ guy reminds me of the Saddam character in South Park
The lighting effects were really cool too.

Unfortunately I’m at work though, so I had to watch with no sound :expressionless:

You should really watch with sound (like usual people watch movies :-), it’s quite a vital part of any multimedial presentation

Yeah intrr! GREAT STUFF! keep on working!
