where can i find updated learning resources for Blender? i prefer Videos which are something like a series and cover all major topics.
i saw the videos from official blender site. its abit old and i dunno if i am learning something that has already changed.
free is best but commercial i will consider also. blogs etc are welcome but being a beginner i want to learn all major aspects of blender in a series i guess.
http://www.gryllus.net/Blender/3D.html it’s beginner level but it will get you to the point you’ll be able to do an advanced tutorial without being lost as long as it’s not game engine. it is a real university corse that is free, unless you want to enrole at tufts and pay for it.
this also! thanks. dunno abt whether isit updated tho. maybe some are some not. any changes in Blender 2.5 i shld know abt 1st? is there like a whats new page or video?
Don’t worry about 2.5. Just about everything you learn now, will be transferable to 2.5 in some way. The thing to do is just start learning.
Finding updated learning resources, especially videos, and even more especially, an entire course, will always be nearly impossible because Blender develops so quickly and these types of resources take a lot of time to develop. It’s a blessing (fast dev) and a curse (docs can’t keep up), so just try to learn from everything you encounter and figure out any differences.
