omg! that is amazing!!! how long did it take to render?
i have seen glass pieces before, you rendered them flawlessly.
the only suggestions i’d have are to work on the table, it’s all photorealistic except for it and the chessboard itself. it’s just TOO clean.
That thing must have taken a LONG time to render.

Not very long actually 
. The last render (chess5) was about 5 hours.
I expected it to be longer, but since I don’t use skydomes in LF anymore, my renders are about 10 times as fast as before. 
Truly wonderful
It seems pretty much real, but the chessboard reflects the pieces so flawlessly that my mind can’t accept that it’s not reflecting anything else.
