urathane rubber

just want to know if anyone can tell me how to simulate urathane rubber for skteboard wheels.thanks

You’re gonna put the camera that close to the wheels?

Raise the transparency really high (not alpha, but transparency). They reflect light softly, so use a low hardness value. Using ramp shaders will help if you know how to use them.

If those are polyurethane rubber, I would use a lambert shader with no specularity. I think subsurface scattering is ideal for this - it gives a waxy effect but it’s difficult to do in Blender and isn’t really necessary here. Just make sure the wheels have rounded edges.
