All the great effort you put into detailing the bike has been lost in your final scene. The pictures of just the bike are far better then the scene version.
@Hazza: you are absolutely right about that, and as I sayed before my original idea was not to create a scene at all, then I got this neat idea and so I made that…
And even that details are not so visible there I kinda like the mood in the pic
Still the main project was the bike not the scene…
I dont think that many of the details are lost, only some. Really it doesnt matter what scene you put your bike in, you will lose some details. Great picture over all, the background doesnt detract from the focus point, a very nice picture. Good Job.
urban dirtbike…hmmm, that reminds me of a graphic novel that’s really good. it’s called the couriers and its a series. in the second book, entitled dirtbike manifesto the main character races a dirtbike against a crotch rocket in the middle of New york and wins. the character also escapes in a dirtbike. your model, however, is waaaaaaaaayy better than this artists depiction. good job
Very well done. The last render looks very realistic.
Only thing that struck my eye was that it seems to hover slightly above ground. It might not do that but it really looks that way. Maybe it’s the shadows
and about that thing you said, bike is solidly on the ground, I double checked it Its just that there are about 3 or 4 lamps including one area light so the lightning is quite messed up :o
Yeah i figured you had checked that, it just looked like it was hovering
If you just tweaked the lightning so that the shadows would point in a different direction or something it would be perfect imo.
But still as i said before very well done
