Use 2.25 or 2.34?

Hello!Should I use 2.25 or 2.34?I have tested my game in 2.34 where it runs slow but in 2.25 it’s really smooth and about 5 times faster - that’s why ive been thinking to maybe use 2.25 until a better version comes up(2.36 still has the camera shaking bug from 2.35).So please tell me if i should use 2.25 or not(and why or why not)?

I’v got two nine inch nails. Should i use hammer or head?

in 2.34 there is:
-polyheader collision

  • better camera(Height is height over the object)

in 2.25

  • you can save exe with many properties
    and better interface  :Z
-and blender web plugin for 2.25…

what else?

Just use blender 2.36, report bugs and strange behaviors. It has almost everythin like 2.25 has, even runtime and dynamic runtime is combined now in one runtime instead of 2 ways to save it. Also a lot of interface and game engine bugs has been fixed which where in 2.25 and 2.34.

For now, blender 2.36 has the fastest game engine, even faster then 2.25 if you create games from cratch inside the new engine instead of testing old files which cause horrible frames per second slowdowns. :-?

Maybe youre right JD-multi, maybe i should use the 2.36 since its so fast(the only thing i didnt like was the camera shaking for slowparent cameras(even when setting logic tic rate to 60) but i dont need that anymore.

EXEs with 2.36 are slower that the 2.34 and 2.25. My transparent textures dont look the same too.

polyheader collision
in the 2.36 ? Collisions were a big problem in gameblender, i guess they still are problematic…

Yes 2.25 is faster, but dont forget that what you see in gameblender and what you see in your exe IS NOT EXACTLY THE SAME (framerate, lights and textures). You have to make exes frequently to check the progress of your final game.
