User defined spaces

Hello,

Does any one know if it is possible to create a user defined space type?

If not, when will be this feature ready? Could it be possible to redraw an already defined space type like the “timeline” with my own menus and buttons?

but look at the mushroom script
it does make a new panel over the viewport

might be usefull !

It’s not possible to create your own spaces. Best thing to do is just add to the toolbar or somewhere in the space that will use it mostly, or do a popup menu like the mushroom script.

Do you guys think that in the final release is going to be possible to create our own spaces?
