I thought I remember seeing a tutorial that showed you some hokey to use to let the view port control the direction of the camera. In Maya when you select the camera and set a view port to look though a camera you can use the translation and rotation of the view to set the viewing angle of the camera - thats what I’m trying to do.
You can move the camera so its view matches the viewport with Ctrl-Alt + Numpad zero.
Shift-F puts the camera into Flying mode, using the keyboard controls shown at the bottom of the window.
Thats kind of neat with the fly mode. Ctrl + Alt is good enough for now - thanks a lot
