Using an array and curve modifier

I’m trying to copy what this guy did (sort of):


You can start his video at 9 minutes to see what I’m trying to do. He uses an array to build the track segments then uses the curve modifier to tell the track segments to follow the curve. I’ve attached the model I’m working with. I’m trying to get ‘Rail’ to follow ‘InternalRailPath’. Either I’m missing something he’s doing or perhaps it’s because I used a NurbsPath instead of the Bezier Curve like he did? No matter what I try it I can’t get it to work.

The origin of the curve and the rail need to be in the same location. Also clear any rotation and scale of your rail and curve with Ctrl+A
