using blender game engine for music production?

hi, i’m new. so please bare with me… i do regret this not being the best possible place/forum/sub-forum to pose this question, but i find this community rather well rounded & knowledgeable.

i am interested in knowing & discussing the opinions of everyone on this subject!!

ive been sitting on this idea wishing i could propagate it for at least 10 years per se, but without a team of specialists this idea of mine will not go any further than my own ability to fathom.

my theory is.

a game engine could theoretically allow musicians / Composers / Artists to view/edit/compose/arrange/synthesize/resynthesize sound as a three dimensional object. allowing aspects of physical modeling & acoustics to be represented with an actual dynamic transformable object. placing objects within stereo fields, building structures… etc. viewing/hearing audio filters as textures mapped along an object. timbres represented by colors or patterns. notes represented by size and length of objects. chords represented with multiple objects.

timestretch an audio sample, by physically stretching it.

Synthesis represented by CG.
