Using Blender to prep models for use in Element 3D - Baking question

I am using Blender to create and prep commercial models for use in Video Copilots Element 3D and After Effects.

Is it possible to bake all materials/textures into 1 file?

I have seen Andrew Kramer do this for a room environment (wall / columns / windows and floor) in C4D. It seems a very fast and effective way to do things.

Is Blender capable of this? If so please share links where I can get details on the process. Thanks!

I am not sure what you mean by one file. But you can “bake” lots of things onto the model with blender; Specular Colors, Specular Intensity, Mirror Colors, Mirror Intensity, Alpha, Emission, Displacement, Textures, Normals, Shadow, Ambient Occlusion, and Full Render. Those bake will create an image file which can be applied to a model using different material channel. Baking greatly reduces CPU time in render.
