using blender with a two-button mouse?

hello…i just got a laptop two days ago, and blender runs just fine on it, but there’s just one problem, the mouse pad only has a left/right click and not a left/middle/right click. so my question is, how could i get around this problem (i.e.:“how could i orbit around the viwport”)?:confused:

If 'Emulate 3 button mouse" is selected in the preferences, you can use alt-LMB in place of the MMB.

But this really is just an “in a pinch” type option. Do yourself a favor and get an external mouse for when you’re working.
