Using Boids Particle System

Hello again all, I’ve been working on a couple of spaceships lately and have ben attempting to get them to fly around and blow stuff up. I thought the boids system could work if the amount of banking was turned down as well as the maneuverability of the default settings. Now, the traditional predator/prey setting of the boids would have to be readjusted so that the ships don’t crash into each other. I was thinking a third group of boids could act as the laser bolts and missiles. Now, I can already see some problems with this, and that’s why I’m posting here, if someone could give me some feedback and some tuts. on the boids system, it would be greatly appreciated.
