Using real + game ipo?

I’d searched this forum already but probably with the wrong keywords so I couldn’t find much.
I’d like to use the copy game physics to ipo option, but not from frame one.
My example: character pics up an object and trows it. My object has the swing on it’s ipo already. Is it posible to use that ipo data as force (…?) and record the game physics from that frame on?

that graphik shows, that it is possible, I know that.
What I want to know how it is possible at a specific starting frame.
