Using scripts

I’m sorry if there is already a topic about this, but I can’t figure it out:

How do I activate the scripts (.py’s) that I download? I can’t get them as an available import/export on my menu. I just need a quick answer, I just found Sflender and I’m very excited to use it (I use flash 8 and hope I can implement 3D)

Load them in the blender text editor and press alt-p.

thanks, it worked, except that blender quits ever time I execute the script. :frowning:
