Hi There,
this question was already asked often in forums, but i have not achieved a solution for linux (Mint Linux 17.1 - Blender 2.74).
How can i use the installed Python of Mint Linux instead of the bundled one of Blender? This would be helpfull of course to access external librarys.
When deleting the python folder of blender i do get an error message.

By the way: I’m using the Stand-Alone-Version of Blender.
Has someone already found a simple solution?
