Using the MD5MESH

I want to export bones with my mesh and I was referred to an export script called MD5MESH, but I cant figure out how to use it. Can somebody walk me through it?

basicly, md5 NEEDS the first bone to be called “origin”. After that it’s no different then rigging anything else (if a vert isn’t linked with a bone then it won’t work properly).

I still don’t really understand. Which tutorial do I pick?

you have your bones setup properly (like I said, everything must be under “origin”), setup your vertex groups properly (model doesn’t NEED to be parented to the armature, but it’s a heck of a lot easier to test the animation & groups!), then export.
