using the same file for rendering and real-time (BGE, GLSL)

Hi There,

I am almost sure this has been asked before, though I did not find an answer:
I am building an environment which I plan to use for rendering and GLSL in BGE. For rendering, it would be OK if I could just use the same stuff (Textures, Materials) i did for BGE.

Is there a way to get video files out of the render engine using GLSL? I don’t want to use screen capturing if there’s a better way.
