Using the Shadow Catcher Option as a simple Greyscale Filter

Hi all,

by accident i stumbled over the effect of using a shadow catcher as a simple Greyscale Filter:

  1. Add a plane and place it in front of the camera
  2. Set the plane as a shadow catcher (under Properties - Cycles Settings)
  3. Add a transparent Material to the shadow catcher
  4. Change viewport to render and look through the camera


Don’t take this to serious. Any more ideas of a Shadow catcher Hacking are welcome :wink:
