Using vertex groups?

Hey all. :smiley:

This is probably easier than it sounds, but looking at the Blender Python API reference I keep getting confused.

What I would like to do is output the vertices from the faces in a given vertex group. Yes, I understand that the vertex groups don’t have information about the faces, so basically I’m just going through all the faces of the mesh and checking which vertices are in the group. Efficiency isn’t important right now.

Could anybody help me out with this?

i would also like to know that, because i am looking into implementing bone control based on what blender uses for bone control, and i have no clue about anyting else :confused:
