I’ve tried to figure this out on my own, but I’ve been unsuccesful so far. I want to texture the hilt of a sword using procedual textures, but then apply a nor map to make it look like it has something wrapped around it, to give it a more ‘real’, 3-d look. What’s the best way to go about this?
Click the NEW button, and now you can add another texture on top of what you already have. (up to 16 at one time)
Hmm… But when I try to assign the vertices to the UV material, then I lose the procedural material. It’s like I can only assign one material to each vertice. How do I make it so two different materials can be on the same vertice?
Assign Vertices. I am not sure what you mean there.
Anyhow, you need to press F6 to access the textures.
Then, click the Add New button.
Add the texture, like the previous one.
There should be two textures now.
It seems like you are changing the original material, thus overwriting it.
Yeah, I was trying to assign two Materials to the same verts. I figured it out for the most part, I just cant get it to look as good as I want. Lol. But thanks for your help
