UV Audit — scene-wide UV and mesh checker [commercial]

Hi all — I’m the developer and seller of this add-on, so please read this as a release announcement, not a review.

What it does. Press Run and every mesh in scope is checked in one pass: overlapping, flipped and stretched UVs, islands too close for your bake margin, texel density outliers, UDIM tiles, missing UV maps, non-manifold and loose geometry, inconsistent normals and more (44 checks in all). Problem faces are drawn in the 3D view and the UV editor, and one click takes you to the object with those faces selected.

What it does not do. Nothing changes until you press a fix. Auditing, the overlay, the report and the command line only read. Twenty of the checks have a fix you can run when you ask for it, and one Ctrl+Z undoes it. Shared and linked meshes are never fixed.

Other parts. An HTML report (plus CSV/JSON) that anyone can open without Blender; a baseline so you can see what is gone and what is new after you fix things with any tool; and a headless mode for builds:
blender -b -P uv_audit_cli.py -- --batch assets/ --fail-on error

On free alternatives. Many single checks exist for free already — Mesh > Clean Up, Select All by Trait, the 3D-Print Toolbox. What this adds is running all of them across the whole scene at once and giving you one list. If you check one object at a time, the built-in tools may be enough.

Price and compatibility. 15 USD for one artist; 60 / 100 USD for studio licences. Blender 4.2 and newer, tested on 4.5.13 LTS and 5.2.1 LTS.

I’ll post updates in this thread rather than starting new ones. Questions welcome.

Update: for the next two weeks there is a 20% coupon for UV Audit — code uvaudit20 on the Superhive product page (valid until the end of 21 October). It takes the 15 USD single-artist licence to 12 USD.

Nothing else has changed since the release post: 44 checks across the whole scene, read-only until you press a fix, and the free built-in tools may be enough if you check one object at a time. If you try it and a check gives a wrong or confusing result, tell me here and I will look at it.
