uv automatic spread


  Sometimes I would have several overlapping UV, I want to keep the same uv shape but i don't want them to overlap,  if I redo unwrap it would change the uv, is there a way to just make all the UV non-overlap? cus right now I have to manually move them apart one by one.

have you tried pinning a couple of vertices on opposite sides of your mesh then moving one of them around? this should spead the mesh out easier. also you can pin problem areas and work with them directly. pinning outside non problem areas to keep them where you want.

in uv window p = pin alt+p removes pin
