Hi,
I’m experimenting with UV bump mapping (using the UV map as input and then map to normal) to give the impression of depth. While this seem to work, I’m surprised that when I use this on a face of a cube I don’t see any depth on the object in side view. Is this kind of mapping supposed to give relief to an object, and if not, is it possible to give real relief (depth) to an object using UV mapping ?
