Prob.: I try to map a Bumpmap, and a Color Map, both via UV Coordinates on the SAME Face. Mapping of the second map always spoils UV-Coordinates for the first map.
Those images are of different sice, and the Parts that are to be mapped at that face, are at different Locations, on theire images.
Quest.: Is there a way to generate two, or more sets of UV-Coordinates for the same face, but for different images/textures?
You can mess with the DX, DY (I think this is correct) on the map input tab, but I don’t recommend that. Best thing would be to align them in a 2d image editor like the GIMP first.

no, faces can only have one set of coords.[/quote]

O.K., that’s not all to much work, but I thougt there might be a lazier way to do so. On the other hand, I guess that having more than one set of UV’s for identical faces but different images/textures wouldn’t make things less complicated.

Thanks a lot for the fast answer!
Well, you can have multiple textures and materials for the same existing “face” or coordinates if you prefer. Up to 16 I believe in Blender v2.37a. My Dog-Cream cones had 4 different textures, and bumpmaps to get the desired effect that I was looking for.
What exactly are you working on, if you don’t mind me asking? It may help you answer your question.
