UV coordinates in Paint program

How can you export unwrapped UV coordinates into a paint program like GIMP? I want to use it as a guide to paint a texture.

Are there any tutorials out there that shows how to do this with Blender?

In the Scripts window, go to Export and select UV Face Layout. You may have to play with the settings along with the UV calculation, but I get nice results.


Thanks a lot. I have been trying to figure this out all day. This should make painting textures a lot easier.

or just go to file>>export>>UV face layout
