I’M FOLLOWING THE uv PAGE IN WIKI AT

=) someone should read the release notes
the uv-mode was pulled together with the edit mode
just hit tab and A, you will get the mesh in the UV-editor
that wiki page is for 2.36 as indicated
but may be not updated to the last modif!
so it’s hard to find complete update info in wiki and you got know ehre it is!
