UV grid - Snap to image pixels

If you hold down CTRL and move the UV layout in the UV editor it ‘snaps’ to a ‘grid’, yes? Is there a way to make the ‘grid’ correspond to pixels in the UV image? So when I hold CTRL the verts I have selected will move exactly 1 pixel length? I think that would help somewhat with getting the most out of the UV image.

And while I’m here, blender seems to blur the pixels when you render them, in an effort to make the texture look less pixelated. What if I want pixelated? Is there a way to make blender interpolate the image with all pixel borders rendering straight and true?

Thanks in advance.

@1 Under UVs menu there is option SnapToPixels.
@2 Under texture panels, make sure MipMap option is unchecked - it may help.

Hmm, I have been using the snap to pixels and it’s pretty good, it snaps the vertice to the nearest pixel corner. I was hoping more like mapping the diagonal lines to the pixels, but on thinking about it it would probably involve re coding the way the faces are displayed and so on. This will do for no.
