Howdy!
I have a mesh that I’m applying a discriminate modifier to. When I do so, the UV mapping fails to translate to the new mesh. Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks!

I assume you mean a decimation modifier. You’ll have to uv unwrap again after you have applied the modifier. You can then bake the texture from the original object to the new uvs of the new object.
Yep, I’ve been reading it wrong; In my mind I always think ‘discriminate’ for some reason. The mesh I’m working with has been imported as a wavefront .obj file from Sculptris. The UV coordinates come with the file. I’m not sure it would unwrap with the same mapping. Does that make sense? I’ll poke around with it and see if anything becomes apparent. Thanks for your feedback.
