UV map toggle when painting texture?

Hello everyone, I’ve been watching many tutorials online, and have learnt how to paint in blender, but the UV checker pattern will not go away when I’m painting, making it hard to see what I’m doing.

Is there a way to toggle this off? Here is an image of the the file I’m working on, and its blender file.

I’ve been messing around for a few hours and can’t find a solution, so I’d appreciate the help.
