UV Mapping accuracy

Hello everybody !

I’m trying to make an UV mapping and I’m getting a really weird problem.
As you can see in this image, the UV Map and the texture are not aligned.

It’s really annoying and I don’t know how to fix this.

I rendered the picture and it looks right to me. 3D view is not perfect.

Do you have different UV maps defined? When rendering the right one is taken however for the display in the viewport you might have selected the wrong one.

It looks like the problem comes from the texture size and the mip-mapping. The texture was only 50x50 pixels and it looks like it was not enough for Blender. :stuck_out_tongue:

Now, I’m using a 256x256 file with multiple textures on it and the problem seems to have disappear. I just got some render problems but it’s not a big deal since the models are intended to be used in a game. :slight_smile:

@kazinger : it’s weird. I had a bad result when I was rendering the image. :stuck_out_tongue:
