UV Mapping Disasters

I am new to the UV mapping thing. I got a lot of problems.

  1. How do I delete a UV Map without deleting the object? (In the 3D Map window the map is shown in wireframe, but I can’t delete it.)
  2. I UV mapped this one thing, and when I rotate around, it shows on way and the other I can see through it! It’s like the map goes transparent on one side!
  3. When I render the UV Maps don’t show.
  1. click Delete next to TexFace in F9.

  2. Yes, it works like that. You can make it Twoside if you want (search for twoside by me to see an answer to a previous post).

  3. Give the object a Material and in F5 Material tab click TexFace. Plain UV’s are only used in the GameEngine, the Render Engine needs materials.
