Uv mapping help

Hello! I finished making a model for my game in cycles and the materials won’t transfer unless I bake them and in order to bake them I need to make them faces and UV unwrap them. I have never done this before and the tutorials are on basic objects and not a tank. Can someone point me in the right direction or offer some help please?
