Go to wip for a screen shot
It wont load in here

GET RID OF ABOUT HALF THOSE QUESTION MARKS SO I CAN READ YOUR FRIGGIN’ POST!!! ARGH, COUGH, YELL!!!

Calm down, relax, take a deep breath.

Be sure you know your general way around blender, than do:
http://mediawiki.blender.org/index.php/Manual/PartIV/UV_Mapping

and follow it. Seriously. Than watch LSCM UV Mapping
http://blender3d.org/cms/Model_Material_Light.397.0.html

Try the same thing.

Than you will not have to curse again. (Hopefully). And even better tools are already included in the newest version of blender, and more is to come.

Please post a sceenshot.

If you’re meaning the texture is facing the wrong way, select the offending faces and rotate them that is if you’re doing something that doesn’t require a complex map like a character.

And why not rework that post to make it more readable after you calm yourself. The more readable it is the more people can help you.

And don’t try to UV map when being stoned.
You’ll need your head :]

Seriously Soylents sugested tutorials especially Greybeards LSCM UV mapping is the place to start.

I can not say enough about Greybeards tutorial. It helped me so much at least by the time I had watched it once I was getting the idea of what to do and by the third or fourth time I was able to peal some 3d buterfly wings with well over 200 faces. And have them in shape to be used for texturing. Before that when I tryed all I got was a mess where the polies folded back on themselves so much that you could not tell where which poly was.

Thanks Greybeard, that tut is a really good one especially since in it you say it is your first.

i recently made a simple easy to follow LSCM tut, and there are links to a very basic beginner tut and an advanced tut in my sig. you can find the lscm one by searching for LSCM by author ( me ) here in the ‘general’ forum

Hey… does anyone know a translator? I can’t get past the first “as;lkjasdl;fj” stuff.

I don’t think there’s a translator for that, just tell him to clean up his post.
