Hi, I baked a lightmap for a 3d Model I have. The result was bad, the UV of the lightmap texture doesn’t match the 3D model vertex coordinates.
Below you can see on the left is the result (In texture mode), the middle section shows the expected result (Material mode) and on top right there’s the baked lightmap texture.
Textured viewport shading shows images assigned to UV faces in the UV image editor, where as material viewport shading shows materials and material assigned image textures by default, as well as shading.
Remember to save any new and edited images separately as those won’t save with the .blend.
